This past weekend Alpha Gamma’s executive council traveled
all the way to Tulsa, Okla. to attend the District V Leadership Conference.
They left for Tulsa on Friday morning amidst the 12 inches of snow that
mid-Missouri got hit with the night before. Talk about commitment!
District Leadership Conference, also known as DLC, takes
place each year in each district during the months of January
or February. These conferences focus on leadership skills for officers and
other chapter members. The knowledge our officer’s picked up from the
weekend will help the chapter run smoothly this year.
On the first day of DLC, all our officers wore black dresses and matching gray ADPi scarves. |
Alpha Gamma also left DLC with a lot of district-wide
awards. We earned recognition in many categories including: Adelphean, Finance,
Panhellenic, Legacy, 3.0 GPA, NMC, Philanthropy, Total, and Quota! We also
received an apron for our outstanding involvement with out philanthropy The
Ronald McDonald House.
Overall it was a successful weekend, way to go ladies!
The list of the ribbon awards Alpha Gamma won flaunted on our President's name tag. |
Woo! Congrats and I'm glad you switched to Blogger. It will be so much easier to keep up on you ladies now. :)
