About Alpha Gamma

The Alpha Gamma Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded on May 15th, 1915 at the University of Missouri. The big white house in the center of Greek town is the place we all call home.

As a chapter, we consistently place top 5 in on campus competitions (i.e Homecoming, Greek Week, etc.) and have many members involved in organizations outside of Greek Life. In the past year, ADPi has had women involved in over 20 organizations, lead several Steering Committees, win recognition as one of Mizzou’s top ‘39 graduating seniors and gain membership in secret societies.

Alpha Gamma is also regarded as an outstanding chapter within the International Organization of Alpha Delta Pi. We have consistently received Alpha Delta Pi’s Diamond Four-Point Award and we are always working towards winning the highest award, the Maxine Blake Golden Lion. This year at District Leadership Conference we also received recognition in the areas of Adelphean, Finance, Panhellenic, Legacy, 3.0 GPA, NMC, Philanthropy, Total, and Quota!

Throughout the year we have several events and whether it is a sisterhood event or a date party it is bound to be a good time. Sisterhood events are planned specifically for members of our chapter to be able to do something fun together outside of regular activities like class, meetings, etc. We also have a lot of date parties throughout both semesters. Some of our annual ones include, Lion Hunt, Hayride, and our Black Diamond Formal, among many others.

All events, awards, and competitions aside, at Alpha Delta Pi, we truly do live our motto: We Live For Each Other. Although we did not know each other at the beginning of college, we were brought together for a reason. The women we stood next to on Bid Day became friends, sisters, roommates, and will eventually be bridesmaids. The bonds we make in Alpha Delta Pi last much longer than fours years of college; they last a lifetime.
