Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) is a National Leadership Honor Society consisting of men and women who are outstanding leaders, scholars, and servants to their campus. Every year  ODK recognizes 14 freshmen who have exhibited strong leadership qualities and who have impacted Mizzou’s community during the short time they’ve been at the University. This award is one of the highest honors a freshman at Mizzou can receive.

12 of the 14 2013 ODK top 14 Freshmen award recipients

According to the ODK website, “Through faculty and upper classmen recommendations, applications and interviews, we select the most outstanding freshmen who have demonstrated excellent leadership skills, academic achievements, and have had a distinct impact on their community and campus.”

Needless to say this is a huge honor and one we know is well deserved. Congratulations again Alana, we are all so proud of you!
