Bid Day 2013!

Last Sunday the Alpha Gamma chapter welcomed home 81 girls to 809 Richmond. After an exhausting week of recruitment, both the potential new members and the women in chapters were more than ready to celebrate Bid Day 2013.

On the quad all the potential new members stand with their Pi Chi groups and wait for the single for everyone to open their bids. The new members then run to their respective letters on the quad, the Pi Chis reveal, and everyone runs back to their chapter in Greek Town.

The theme for ADPi’s bid day this year was Nike, so all the sophomores, juniors, and seniors were all dressed to theme in sporty apparel. The sophomores and juniors wait at the house for the girls to run back and the seniors take to the quad with the giant ADPi letters.

As the new members run back to the house, they are warmly greeted and embraced by their new sisters. Pi Chis come home, the new members come home, and it really is a happy day for all of Greek Town.
