Fifteen of the Alpha Gamma officers attended the District V Leadership Conference in Tulsa, Okla., at the end of January. The women attended group presentations and also got position-specific training from some of Alpha Delta Pi’s International Officers. The weekend was a great experience and will help the chapter run successfully this year. It was especially helpful because no one was able to attend DLC last year because of inclement weather. Our officers also had a great time meeting our sisters from all across the district and participating in a T-shirt exchange to get cool merchandise from the other chapters.
Alpha Gamma also walked away with a lot of district-wide awards. We earned ribbons for meeting certain standards in the following categories: Total, Philanthropy, Housing, Finance, Legacy, Quota, NMC, 3.0 GPA, TME and Panhellenic!
Also during the conference, we celebrated the 20th birthday of our scholarship chair, Kate Doveikis, with dinner and dessert. She shares her birthday (Jan. 29) with our founder, Eugenia Tucker Fitzgerald!
We are truly proud of all of our accomplishments and are working to continue them each and everyday!
