This summer, all of our ADPi sisters are helping out! Whether we continued our work with the Ronald McDonald House, other volunteer activities or found something new, we were all busy making a difference. Two of our women returned to be camp counselors, but they did more than just that!
Karen Butkievich was a counselour at Camp Quality: a summer camping experience and year-round support program for children with cancer. All week long Karen helped as they did activities together from fishing, motorcycle rides, hot air balloon traveling, craft making, swimming and eating lots of delicious homemade food! The camp is a week long and we had 30 campers this year. Everyday was a new adventure with lots of different activities, plus a horizontal time–nap time! Karen plans on attending camp very summer, as requested by her campers!

Kelsey Palmquist was a coach for Challenger League Baseball: a baseball league for kids with mental and physical disabilities. This was her fourth year associated with Challenger League and her third year being a coach. She loves every minute of it and plans on continuing her involvement year after year!
