My adventures this summer took me to the 17th floor of 444 North Michigan Ave, Chicago where I interned for Momentum Worldwide, an event marketing, promotions, advertising & PR agency. Each morning I took the metra train and water taxi to get downtown to my new desk. Whether I was working on stuffing gift boxes for NASCAR races with Office Depot, promoting Coca-Cola on college campuses, helping set up new interactive displays at 6 Flags for Army or brainstorming new ideas with members of the Kraft team, each day was exciting and helped bring me to the realization that the strategic communications program in the J-School at Mizzou is where I belong! The best part of the experience was meeting one of my ADPI sisters at the Saint Louis office for the Intern Orientation. In an office of strangers, it was comforting to have a fellow ADPI to share the experience with!
